Welcome to Kenthurst Public School’s website. Our website provides parents and the wider community with information about our school, including information about school events, student work, welfare and discipline policies, gifted and talented programs.

Established in 1883, Kenthurst Public School is situated on the outskirts of Sydney, in a semi-rural area where students live either on acreage or in a village environment. It is a beautiful school with lovely gardens and a very large playground, a portion of which is allocated to a vegetable garden, which is cultivated by all students in the school.

Kenthurst Public School offers quality teaching and learning programs. The school has a strong emphasis on literacy, numeracy, the arts, technology and sport. Teaching and learning programs provide each student with a comprehensive education in a safe, supportive environment that promotes self-discipline, motivation and excellence in learning.

We enjoy high levels of parent and community participation with parents actively  involved in committees, fundraising, parent educational programs and classroom  activities. The school’s focus is to meet the needs of all students within a climate that fosters a sense of belonging.
